J.V. Lady Raiders play Holy Cross Varsity tough

The J.V. Lady Raiders competed agaisnt the varsity team from Holy Cross today at Kenton County Golf Course and it took a score of 39 from an all region player on the Holy Cross team to keep the J.V. Lady Raiders from victory.  The final score of the match was Ryle - 210 to Holy Cross - 191.

The J.V. Lady Raiders were led today by 8th grader Madison Kleckner who's hard work all year long paid off as she shot a career best round of 46 on the front nine of the Pioneer course at Kenton County.  Morgan Adams, regularly a varsity player, joined the J.V. Lady Raiders for the match today and carded a round of 48.  Sydney Dunigan and Cora Bradford completed the team scoring for the day each with a round of 58.

The J.V. Lady Raiders now have a record of 5 wins, 3 loses, and 1 tie and will complete their season next Wenesday 9/19 with a match in the afternoon at Eagle Creek Country Club against Grant County.
