The Lady Raiders varsity team defeated their county rival Cooper Jaguars in their first match of the season this morning at Lassing Pointe Golf Course.  The final team score was Ryle - 188 to Cooper - 249.  The Lady Raiders were led today by Nadine Innes who recorded her first match medalist of the season with a 2 over par 38 on the back nine at Lassing Pointe.  Morgan Clark extended her streak of fantastic play with a Lassing Pointe career low score of 44.  Mollie Collins shot a score of 52 and Morgan Adams added a 54 in her first varsity match to round out the scoring for the Lady Raiders on the day.  Also playing were Savanna Innes and Lindsey Jackson both of whom were playing in their first varsity match and both of whom shot a score of 55.

Both the team score and all the individuals scores are very strong as for the day the back 9 of Lassing Pointe was playing at about 2700 yards which is very close to the state tournament maximum for yardage in the girls golf division.

Photos were taken at the match and will be uploaded as soon as possible.

Both the Varsity Lady Raiders and the J.V. Lady Raiders are in action at the Mason County Tournament tomorrow at Maysville Country Club early in the morning.
