The Lady Raiders continued their early season surge with a very impressive 4th place team showing at the Grant County Invitational Tournament at Eagle Creek Country Club.  As a team the Lady Raiders shot a season low 355 missing out on third place by only 5 shots and the team was only 15 shots away from the first and second place teams.

The Lady Raiders were led today by Nadine Innes who shot a 5 over par 77 and finished in 5th place for the tournament.  This was Nadine's first event of the 2012 season.  Morgan Clark added to her early season success by shooting a new season low of 90 for the event.  Kayley Hughes contined to play very well controlled golf as she carded her new season and career low round of 91.  Mollie Collins shot a 97 to tie her career best round for her second consective outing.  The team was rounded out by Savanna Innes who shot a 104 to set a new career low round for herself on the day.

The Lady Raiders took this tournament as an opportunity to tell the rest of the powerhouses of the 6th region that under no circumstances should they overlook the Ryle team in any match or tournament for the remainder of the season.

The Lady Raiders will look to garner their first match win of the 2012 season tomorrow morning when they face the Cooper Jaguars at Lassing Pointe Golf Course at 7:45 in the morning.
