Tough Day but Lady Raiders are Victorius

It was a difficult morning for the Lady Raiders Varsity team but in the end they would prevail with a convincing vicorty over district rival Cooper.  The team score was Lady Raiders 182 and Cooper 255.  Nadine Innes earned match medalist honors with a four over par 40 on the back nine of Lassing Pointe Golf Course and Alex Bruce added a 41 of her own.  Mollie Collins, Morgan Clark, and Kayley Hughes also participated in the match for the Lady Raiders.

Even though the team score of 182 was a little higher than the goals the Lady Raiders team has set for itself it was still a solid score on a difficult tournament style course.  At the end of the match it was obvious to Coach Thornton and others present that the players were not satisfied with their performance today and looked eager to reestablish their solid play in the tournament on Wenesday at Perry Park.  With that type of determination and attitude the Lady Raiders will quickly become the type of team that few other golf teams will want to play in the future.
