Ryle Varsity Scrimmage Sets High Team Standard

There are only three words for this mornings Ryle Varsity Scrimmage and they are as follows.....

WOW, WOW, and WOW

The team total was a 3 year low of 156.  Individually Alex Bruce shot a one over par 35 to earn scrimmage medalist honors, Nadine Innes was one back with a 36, Morgan Clark shot 42, and newcomers Kayley Hughes and Mollie Collins shot 43 and 44 respectively.  The above scores allowed Ryle to easily defeat Mason County by a team score of 156 to 183.

This effort shows that all the hard work the Ryle Lady Raiders have been putting in throughout the summer and the first couple of weeks of practice is paying off.  We all must remember that we still have many individual and team goals still to reach and that the golf season is a marathon and not a sprint.  Let there be little doubt, however, that if our work ethic stays high we will have many more team scores like this during the season and be a force to reckon with on a daily basis.

Let's begin with the first regular season match on Tuesday.

As always
